We prided ourselves on keeping a small, tight-knit company and listening to our customers needs and by doing so began to understand that they wanted greater flexibility and choice.
We received the What Mortgage Magazine Insurer of the Year Award for 2007 and 2008 and regularly topped the Defaqto and FSA tables as the cheapest provider of payment protection; but we have never compromised the quality of our cover to maintain these premiums. The "credit crunch" in late 2008 caused underwriters and brokers to re-evaluate their products.
