Angus Osteopathic Clinics

Originally from Carnoustie, Richard studied Human Physiology at Dundee University, graduating with an honours degree. Following this Richard enrolled with the College of Osteopaths in London and completed his training with an honours degree in Osteopathy in 2009. Since graduating Richard has worked as a locum at Perth Chiropractic Clinic until 2012. During his studies Richard completed an APNT course in sports massage which he integrates into his treatments. He also has practical experience of working in an NHS referral clinic in Haringey, London.

In 2012 Richard successfully completed a medical acupuncture course allowing him to integrate this therapy into his treatments. All osteopaths have a slightly different approach to treatment based on their education, understanding and experience. Richard's approach focuses heavily on patient education to remove the anxiety and uncertainty associated with pain, empowering patients to take control.
