Following from our post last month discussing hair growth, we will be focusing on increasing hair growth around the scalp region by massaging the area. Massaging the scalp is known to stimulate, improving blood circulation, which is said to help hair follicles to grow. You can perform a scalp massage on dry or wet hair, you just need to make sure that hair is free from hair products (oils are fine). When massaging the scalp, use your finger tips and spread them in and out.

You can perform a scalp massage on dry or wet hair, you just need to make sure that hair is free from hair products (oils are fine).
When massaging the scalp, use your finger tips and spread them in and out. Avoid using your nails as this could lead to you damaging your scalp. If you do decide to massage your scalp with oils, we recommend lavender, almond or castor oil. Massage for a minimum of 5 minutes and then leave the oil to be absorbed in for a couple of hours.
