Kaj’s experience working in the fire safety industry spans 17 years. He also has over 25 years of experience working in the electrical wholesale industry and has built four houses from scratch (including his own) which gained him valuable insight into the build process, understanding how important it is for tradespeople and contractors to work alongside each other efficiently and successfully. He was the front man for several other businesses before making the decision to set up on his own in 2010, during which time Amsco Fire (the Automatic Mist and Sprinkler Company) was formed.

Based in the Hastings Innovation Centre, his vision was to specialise in delivering the best fire suppression technology through innovation. This was a vision that enabled him to differentiate his business products and services from his competitors. After extensive research, Kaj chose to invest in the latest mist technology – it enables four fire-fighting methods at the same time with optimal water usage; it’s a system that’s highly efficient and effective. He eventually found the right manufacturing partner in Denmark, a producer of mist head technology called VID Firekill.

Now, with his choice of sprinkler and mist heads, Kaj was confident that Amsco would be able to offer an unrivalled product - the best in terms of quality and reliability.
