Allman Removals is a family run business started up in 1947 by John Allman, a well-known member of an old Chichester family. He decided to retire in 1971. One of the last moves he undertook was for our parents, Bill and Diana Thrower, who were moving with their four children from Hertfordshire to West Wittering. John Allman mentioned he was seeking a buyer for Allmans. It so happened that our parents were interested in finding a new business venture and the rest, as they say, is history.

The business is now run by Brothers Simon and Storry Thrower, who joined Allmans soon after leaving school - to continue its tradition as a family-run business. As we are a small family firm we feel we are able to offer a more personal service than some of our larger competitors and we pride ourselves on being both professional and friendly.
