Albert Street Antique Centre

A welcoming Antiques Centre, with fresh items arriving daily from our dealers, filling 25+ units and 50+ cabinets spread over two floors, from early Victorian to Retro items, there is something for everyones tastes and budgets. Whether you are looking for an additional treat for your home or an unusual gift for a friend, there are plenty of items to browse through.Local to the area Shirley and Simon Wallington are long time collectors of ceramics, Moorcroft and Beswick to name but two, they also have a wide interest in Antiques as a whole. Having too many items around their home, they started to have a stall and sell it in their local Antique and Collectors Fairs, after getting the “antique dealing bug” they soon took a space in an Antique centre.When this old building became available they realised their ambition to open an Antiques Centre could be possible, previously a Penny School and latterly a local Salvation Army citadel, they took on the challenge of carefully and thoughtfully restoring it to a high standard.
