Alan Ward started working in the Financial Services sector for Royal London in 1994. He was a Financial Consultant before being promoted to an Assistant District Manager role, then again to a Sales Manager. In 1999 he was head-hunted by a Friends Provident broker firm as a mortgage broker and was one of their top brokers until 2001, when he was head-hunted again by St. James's Place where he started his own business. He was a top three broker within St James's Place before moving to the Home of Choice mortgage network in 2005 where he was yet again one of the top brokers, winning the mortgage broker of the year award in 2008.
