Alan Mudd is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who has worked in both private practice and the contracting sector.
During the early 1980's he was an Associate Partner of a well known national Quantity Surveying Practice running their Coventry Office. During this time he developed one of the first computerised Bills of Quantities packages with a software company and established the Coventry office as the first Quantity Surveying practice in the UK to gain Quality Assurance certification under BS 5750. He gained experience in the health, housing and commercial and public sectors. This included construction of a new District General Hospital, large housing schemes, commercial projects and some prisons.
