AJ Chinese Healthcare Centre

AJ Chinese Healthcare is an alternative medicinal clinic located in central Northampton. The clinic has been established since 1998. It serves the community offering acupuncture treatment and herbal remedies. The practitioner Dr. Lucy F Dong from medicine school in Xi’an, 1985. She used to work in the Cardiovascular Department of Shaanxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.

The technique of acupuncture is by inserting very fine sterile needles into the affected body area or designated Acupuncture Point (acupoint). The idea sounds off putting to many, however it does do wonders to many symptoms and it does not feel painful during the treatment. The feeling of acupuncture, if done correctly, should be sour and swellness at the acupoint.

Acupuncture has been widely reported, including WHO (World Health Organisation), to be very effective for pain relief, nausea and vomitting, weightloss and increase fertility rate.
