He got his first drum-kit at the age of 14 and the same year began working as a semi-professional musician after starting the band Ber að Ofan of which he was the band leader. They supported The Sugercubes (who's lead singer was Björk) as well as many of Iceland's popular bands at the time.
I have been a professional drummer for over 20 years and have in that time been involved in numerous projects covering all styles of music ranging from pop and rock to big band and everything in between. For the last few years I have been mainly involved in musical theatre and have worked on some of the biggest shows in the uk both on tour and in the west end of London.
I received a BA Hons degree in Music & Sound Recording from Salford University in 1997 where I took private lessons with one of UK's most renowned drum teachers, Dave Hassell. I am also a dedicated teacher and teach at a private school as well as offering private drum lessons from my drum studio in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
