My busy week is split Afon House and teaching. I teach chiropractic technique to undergraduate chiropractic students at the top European chiropractic college in Bournemouth.

Arvid and I refurbished the house ourselves. We have replaced practically every piece of wood in the house from the floorboards to the door frames and windows. Only the staircase and the floor beams survived. We have, in effect been living in a building site for the last 10 years but we are now working on the last room. To escape from DIY we enjoy walking and often walk along the river or the beach.

Living by the coast I enjoy all aspects of seaside life, whether it's running along the beach, swimming, walking the dog or days out on boats wake boarding and relaxing. Fitness is a big part of my life and from an early age I have been exposed to a variety of sporting activities as my father managed a sports centre. Last year I worked with a Wessex League football team travelling to away games which was muddy, but rewarding.
