I will also work with you to discover and treat any underlying causes to help reduce the risk of re-emerging symptoms.These two complementary therapies are based upon a healthcare system that has been practiced across East Asia for thousands of years. Using the principles of Chinese Medicine, this system looks at pain and illness as signs that the body is out of balance and aims to restore equilibrium. Acupuncture involves the use of fine needles and other techniques such as cupping, while Shiatsu combines acupressure with movements similar to those used in massage and Osteopathy.
