I first became interested in acupuncture after my husband, who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, underwent a course of traditional treatment with a local practitioner — he found the acupuncture beneficial in alleviating some of his symptoms and generally lifting his spirits” and sense of wellbeing. I was so impressed with the results I wanted to know more about this wonderful and ancient tradition and eventually began my three year degree course in Traditional Five Element Acupuncture in September 2001.
