Active Cleaning Contractors – a member of the BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science) – operates primarily around the M4 corridor, from London up to Reading. Established in the year 2000, the Company has enjoyed steady growth year-on-year. The management team – who boast a wealth of industry experience – head up a group currently consisting of 3 area managers and over 200 cleaning operatives.

In order to meet the needs of its growing customer base, Active Cleaning Contractors purchased dedicated office and warehouse premises in 2003, in the Uxbridge area. This newly refurbished facility, enables the Company to support the growing requirements of both new and existing customers, most of who come through recommendation.

The Company prides itself on its extremely high standards. To achieve its goals, there is a company-wide emphasis on delivering a quality service that never falters. There is no point however in having a management team with a great vision for the Company, if the operatives actually doing the work, don’t share this vision.

Consequently – unlike many similar organisations – Active Cleaning Contractors does not use casual labour. Instead, it employs a team of operatives, ensuring there is a continuity of service and a sense of loyalty amongst the staff on the ground. Each team of workers includes a supervisor who oversees the work in progress, ensuring that the required levels of cleanliness are met. In addition to this, area managers are responsible for carrying out regular quality control checks at customer sites.
