Abbey Park Cars has also just been shortlisted (February 2019) as a front runner for winning AUTOTRADERS prestigious "Dealer of the year award" this is a massive achievement for a small privately owned independent Garage! As Ben says "We are simply over the moon to be selected from literally thousands of dealers nationally. We realise our limitations as a small independent, especially running against the big corporate multiples, However it just goes to prove how well a small business can adapt to the market conditions, treat customers fairly and above all be instantly flexible without the barriers in the way that so often tarnish the consumer experience" Selection was gained by a number of factors but most importantly the un-arguable stats collected by Autotrader.. These include Price of vehicles in the market place against like for like stock, Days a car is in stock (not many!) Advert content and quality plus the all important customer reviews. Ben Holdaway has been with the business from the beginning, working his way up from apprentice duties to co owner in April 2007 and then becoming sole owner in September 2008. Ben believes totally in the company mission statement, "We strive to supply really genuine cars at very reasonable prices". Ben is certain that as well as good customer care this simple formula has helped them retail over FIFTEEN THOUSAND vehicles to people all over the country, as well as a core of regular local customers. He also considers that unlike the majority of used car outlets Abbey Park Cars has moved with the times and because of this their standards are far greater than most.
