Abbey Office Furniture was established in 1984 in St Albans with a view to supplying local businesses with well priced new and secondhand office furniture. Unlike similar firms that centred on supplying commercial stationery and print, with office furniture thrown in as an afterthought, we concentrated solely on furniture. Nearly 30 years later this is still the case. However, thanks to the internet, we now supply businesses & individuals throughout the UK. Originally operating from an old slaughterhouse, in 1990 we built our own custom showroom, offices, and warehouse. We built our first internet shop in 1999. A further one followed in 2005 with the latest being in 2012.
