I graduated from University of Kent at Canterbury with a degree in Accounting & Law. I then commenced my training with a firm of Chartered Accountants, gaining extensive experience in all aspects of Accounts preparation, auditing, company formation and taxation. Over the period of my career, I found that even where the clients had a bookkeeping system, a tremendous amount of work had to be undertaken before the Accounts could be prepared. In a lot of cases, the accountancy fees could be reduced by redesigning or merely improving the client's system.
