The salon promotes ecologically friendly practices with an emphasis on organic cruelty-free products and recycling. The History... A Step Ahead 2 was opened in August 1999 by Art Director, and owner, Georgia. Prior to this Georgia had been based in Bridport in Dorset, where along with a fellow stylist she opened a salon, A Step Ahead. The salon soon became a huge success and was very busy. 1998 found Georgia leaving the salon and relocating to Wallingford. After a short time working for a salon in Henley, Georgia was ready to open her own salon again and A Step Ahead 2 was born.
