3thirty first opened its doors to the public in December 2009 offering a contemporary, boutique hair styling service in the heart of trendy Old Street, Shoreditch. Owner Tiff J is a young stylist who was brave enough to take the plunge and open her own salon in a time of economic instability and her drive and bravery, along with a huge talent for styling has seen the salon go from strength to strength in only a short space of time.

Being an independently-owned salon, there was never that feeling of being rushed that you can get in so many chains, while the service was also utterly tailor-made to my needs and the staff were friendly and welcoming - putting me at ease straight away. While I opted for a number of expertly-executed beauty treatments, I felt like I could have spent all day there getting myself pampered from top to toe from the team of stylists, who specialise in all types of hair, to the beauty therapists who offer everything from waxing and eyebrow shaping to pedicures and manicures, facials and massages. Plus, if I couldn't have fallen in love with the place anymore - I've already booked my next appointment - they also have late-night openings on Monday and Friday.
