Duncan graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1992. He worked for Bentel Abramson & Partners one of the largest architectural practices in South Africa on commercial projects from hospitals to £100M shopping centres. He moved to England with his family in 1999 working firstly in Guildford for Tuffin Feraby & Taylor on JD Weatherspoon's projects and then joined The Pearce Group in Bristol. He ran various projects including the new Bristol & West offices in Stoke Gifford (£3.5M) and a food processing plant for Dalehead Foods in Manchester(£7M).
Since 2004 he has gained a wealth of experience in residential architecture working for various local practices, councils, housing associations, and house builders.
