1st Steps Day Nursery was founded in 2003 with a commitment to provide the highest standards of care and education. We are a fully registered, 105-place, family-run nursery providing professional quality care and education for children aged from birth to 5 years. Our provision is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted (full Ofsted report).Our vision is to provide a unique place where children think, play, problem solve and learn together with adults in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.Our mission is to deliver rich learning experiences to our children by providing stimulating and exciting opportunities that promote every child’s individual learning and social, emotional, language and physical development.1 st Steps Waterloo, Our newly refurbished nursery opened on April 3 rd 2018 and is registered for 61 children. Located opposite Potters Barn and close to Crosby Marina, the setting can be easily reached via bus and train with stops within walking distance, and is closely situated to the major route out of Crosby. It boasts large gardens, open spacious rooms and a soft play area.
