001 Mobile was started by Paul Jopling in 1993 - a typical "man in a van" travelling to customers homes or businesses to carry out installations. After a year of hard work and long hours, Paul realised a shop was needed to move the business forward. A fantastic, but near derelict site was found, and quickly transformed into a thriving business.20 years later the industry has changed dramatically, with online sales continually growing, and vehicle manufacturers including reasonable audio and navigation systems and security as standard, it was felt that demonstration facilities were no longer needed. The decision was made to go mobile were it all began, travelling to customers' home or workplace to offer a more convenient service, whilst lowering overheads which can be passed onto both new and our many loyal customers.
